Rotary Sawdust Dryer Structure

Working principle of the Rotary Dryer
Material to be dried enters the drier, and as the dryer rotates, the material is lifted up by a series of internal fins lining the inner wall of the dryer. When the material gets high enough to roll back off the fins, it falls back down to the bottom of the dryer, passing through the hot gas stream as it falls. This gas stream can either be moving toward the discharge end from the feed end (known as co-current flow), or toward the feed end from the discharge end (known as counter-current flow). The gas stream can be made up of a mixture of air and combustion gases from a burner, in which case the dryer is called a dire ct heated dryer. Alternatively, the gas stream may consist of air or another (sometimes inert) gas that is preheated. When the gas stream is preheated by some means where burner combustion gases do not enter the dryer, the dryer known as an indirect-heated type. Often, indirect heated dryers are used when product contamination is a concern.

Rotary Drier:
Rotary drier is widely used for drying materials in industries like cement, mine, building materials, chemistry, food and fertilizer, etc. This rotary drying machine comes with thermocouples on the feeding and discharging device to control the temperature. Thermometers are also adopted so as to better control the working temperature (generally 350-380°) of the rotary drier.
The Working Principle of rotary drier:

The auto-combustion device provides heat resource for our rotary drier, which adopts down-flow heating method. When the mineral materials are fed into the cylinder, it flows down as a result of gravity. Meanwhile, they are repetitively scattered in the air so that they are in full contact with the hot air. The material is thus dried gradually.

UV Curing Oven
1) Size: to be customised
Its body is made of sandwich panel. The outer board is plastic-sprayed and the inner is 0.426mm-thick stainless steel, filled with rock wool. Purified air comes from air-supply system of coating cabin and its flow rate is controllable. There are 4 suits of 7.5KW UV lamp variable.
3 minutes is required for setting after painting. Reduction of setting period may produce bubble. In order to keep product from dust, any dust to the setting cabin is not allowed but small quantity of volatile gas should be discharged, so dedusted air should be input. Moreover, temperature in setting cabin should be 30–50°C so some infrared lamps are necessary.
A specifdi c rate of flowing air should take away the volatile solvent. The speed for air discharge should not be more than 0.2m/s.

2) UV Curing Oven
UV curing system is used for paint cured by light. It is charactered by the features as follow:
A. Advantages:
(1) Because of curing under normal temperature, it is applicable for various items. The paint is a UV curing one so direct heating is not necessary.
(2) Generally, less than 20 seconds is taken for curing so less area uptaken by the system and energy consumption are needed.
(3) System for UV has a simple structure, cheap expense for investment and maintenance.
B. Disadvantages:
(1) UV is featured by penetration so it only can be used for transparent and translucscent paint.
(2) Efficiency of engery is low.
(3) The item to be painted should be simply shaped.
((4) UV can do harm to human such as skin, eye, respiratory system. Therefore, much attension should be paid to this point and operator s hould wear sun glasses. Moreover, ozone produced by UV lamp may do corrosion to the equipment around.
(5) Life span of UV lamp is 1500-2000h. Furthermore, 15-20% of the UV will disappear in its final period. Therefore, the reflection plate should be cleaned up in a specific period.
3) UV Oven
It consists of light source, reflection plate, lamp, power source, sensor, conveyor, exhaust device and blocking curtain to prevent UV light.

Several-decked mesh-belt drier is a continuous penetrating flow drying equipment applied for drying pieces strip and particles state materials with good ventilation

2.Sand Dryer working principle
Sand is sent to the hopper by the belt conveyor or bucket hoisting machine , and then it is delivering to the feed side through the feed pipeline by the action of hopper's feed machine.The slope of the feed pipeline should be greater than the natural angle of the material in order to make the mat erial inflow to the dryer smoothly.Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder which is has a slight angle to the horizon.Material is fed from the higher end and the heat carrier is fed from the lower end.Thus contact with the material in the counter-current way.But the heat carrier and the material can also be fed together to the barrel.Material is run to the other lower bottom by gravity when the cylinder is rotating .Wet material gain heat from the heat carrier directly or indirectly when it move forward.Then the wet material become dry material and sent our at the discharged end by belt or screw conveyor.There is a shovelling plate in the inwall of the cylinder.It is used to raise up and down in order to enlarge the connect surface between the material and airflow , improve the rate of the drying and push the material forward. .Heat-carrying agent is generally divided into hot air, flue gas and so on.After going through the dryer, the heat carrier normally need the cyclone dus t separator to catch the material which is in the gas.For further reduction the dust content in the offgas,it also should go through the bag-patten dust catcher or hydrofilter before release.
