UV Curing Oven
1) Size: to be customised
Its body is made of sandwich panel. The outer board is plastic-sprayed and the inner is 0.426mm-thick stainless steel, filled with rock wool. Purified air comes from air-supply system of coating cabin and its flow rate is controllable. There are 4 suits of 7.5KW UV lamp variable.
3 minutes is required for setting after painting. Reduction of setting period may produce bubble. In order to keep product from dust, any dust to the setting cabin is not allowed but small quantity of volatile gas should be discharged, so dedusted air should be input. Moreover, temperature in setting cabin should be 30–50°C so some infrared lamps are necessary.
A specifdi c rate of flowing air should take away the volatile solvent. The speed for air discharge should not be more than 0.2m/s.

2) UV Curing Oven
UV curing system is used for paint cured by light. It is charactered by the features as follow:
A. Advantages:
(1) Because of curing under normal temperature, it is applicable for various items. The paint is a UV curing one so direct heating is not necessary.
(2) Generally, less than 20 seconds is taken for curing so less area uptaken by the system and energy consumption are needed.
(3) System for UV has a simple structure, cheap expense for investment and maintenance.
B. Disadvantages:
(1) UV is featured by penetration so it only can be used for transparent and translucscent paint.
(2) Efficiency of engery is low.
(3) The item to be painted should be simply shaped.
((4) UV can do harm to human such as skin, eye, respiratory system. Therefore, much attension should be paid to this point and operator s hould wear sun glasses. Moreover, ozone produced by UV lamp may do corrosion to the equipment around.
(5) Life span of UV lamp is 1500-2000h. Furthermore, 15-20% of the UV will disappear in its final period. Therefore, the reflection plate should be cleaned up in a specific period.
3) UV Oven
It consists of light source, reflection plate, lamp, power source, sensor, conveyor, exhaust device and blocking curtain to prevent UV light.
